The men's Altra Escalante 2.5 is an easy riding running shoe that puts your foot in a natural position to run comfortably.

Altra built the Escalante 2.5 around its signature FootShape toe box. The shape of the toe box mimics the shape of your foot, which lets your toes rest and spread out easily inside the shoe.

An Altra EGO midsole cushion balances softness and responsiveness for a well-rounded ride, and the 0 mm heel-to-toe drop puts your foot in a neutral stance for a more natural ride. Topped with a knit upper for a sock-like fit, the men's Altra Escalante 2.5 is a comfortable and reliable everyday running shoe.

A great pair of shoes!

Just purchased my 4 and 5 pair of Escalante 2.5... Love the shoe, the comfort, and it will last about 400 miles before I do retire them and used them as walking shoes for another 200 miles or so!!!!

Mostly good

I have ran less than 100 miles in these shoes so far and the only complaint I have is some rubbing on the ball of my left foot. These shoes have a little less cushion than my ASICS that I'm used to running in. Even if I have to wear them as a casual shoe they are still a comfortable shoe.

Love the shoe, perfect for how I run. Only complaint is stretchiness of upper. Feel like it would perform better if upper material was more rigid Also, awesome CS from FF. The engagement by staff then ease of use and speed on your site was really great.
