The Karhu Ikoni 2020 builds on the shape that made it work for a wide range of runners. Designed using data from more than 100,000 3D foot scans taken at Fleet Feet, the Ikoni pairs a roomy forefoot with a heel that locks in the fit, making it a comfortable running shoe for beginners and experienced runners alike.

Plus, Karhu this year added a high-volume option, called the Ikoni HiVo, to provide even more options. The extra option gives you the same ride but with a wider width for a better fit.

Built on top of a lightweight and energetic AeroFoam midsole, the Ikoni uses Karhu’s half-length Fulcrum technology to add a fluid transition and a touch of stability. Fleet Feet runners tested the shoe for the Karhu Ikoni review, and they say it pairs a nimble ride with a comfortable fit.

The updated Karhu Ikoni combines an easy fit with a smooth ride to make it capable of knocking out your long run or picking up the tempo.

I saw an employee who helped me in the store wearing Karhu Ikoni Ortix. I asked, what is that brand? He explained and I tried it on. The rest is history. I bought one and now I have 4 pairs. It fits me perfectly and it's light. great walking/running shoes.

Great Fit

I have to say this was my first real running shoe and recommend everyone else to try them on. Putting these on for the first time felt great. The fit was perfect, wide enough for my toes to splay, padding around the heel felt awesome. Overall it's a fantastic fitting shoe! I just passed 100 miles today in them and they still feel amazing to run in. They have some slight wear on the exposed area of the outsole/midsole but the rubber areas show almost no wear. Uppers still look new and no sign of wear, I wish it was a bit more breathable though. Looking forward to the next 200 miles or more in them!
