Features
The men's Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 is the latest pair of Mizuno running shoes to don the new Foam Wave for stability and softness.
Instead of using the plastic Wave Plate popular in other models, engineers took advantage of wave shapes to create stability. Rounded waves on the lateral side (or outside) part of the shoe lend softness, while rectangular waves on the medial side (or instep) add stability.
Making the men's Horizon 4 even more engaging, though, is the addition of XPOP foam. The bouncy new foam sits in the middle of the midsole and delivers a floating feeling.
In the Mizuno Wave Horizon 4 review, Fleet Feet testers love how cushioned the shoes feel while keeping the stability that devoted fans crave.

Great stability shoe!
I've been running for around half a year now. I have always had flat feet and moderate to severe overpronation. I've gone through a few shoes to help with that but they all felt extremely stiff. This is the first stability shoe I've worn where I feel no pain after a run. Upper fits like a second sock and lockdown is pretty decent. Wish the laces were a little longer though.
Works exactly as advertised!!
It's a phenomenal running shoe, provides ankle support, allows for breathing. Over all an amazing shoe and your feet feel like they're both supported and on air.
