The long-running Wave Inspire 16 uses Mizuno’s Wave Plate technology to give the shoe extra support for overpronators. Combined with firm U4ic foam, the Inspire 16 delivers a well-cushioned ride that disperses impact and rolls smoothly from heel to toe.

The new version has a more modern style thanks to a cleaner upper, but the premium materials provide durability for the long haul. In the Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 review, Fleet Feet runners say the Wave technology and responsive foam create a very stable ride.

This year, Mizuno also added a version with a knit upper, the men's Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 Waveknit.

This is my third pair of the Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 and I am still pleased with the quality of the shoes. They have fit perfectly with additional insoles, and have felt no discomfort with their addition. The packaging and shoes were not damaged in shipping, matching the shoes excellent quality.

Service Was Excellent

The service was excellent, however, the shoes weren't a good fit for me so I returned them without trying them out. What I like best about buying shoes from FleetFeet though is being able to return them even if they've been worn. There aren't many shoe retailers that do that. Thank you for your policy! Left a little disappointed

I am not impressed with this shoe's new design and construction. It is so much different from the way prior models have been constructed and feel. This years model should have been given a completely different name. Also, they feel cheap, not like $145 a running shoe. .
