The Cloudstratus 2.0 update focuses on cushioning, as seen by the notably taller stack of cushioning tech in the midsole and outsole. It still has the original configuration of Helion foam and CloudTec cushioning, but extends the dual layer of CloudTec into the forefoot and toe of the shoe to give an even bouncier feel underfoot. The updated On Cloudstratus 2.0 also uses two times more recycled material throughout the upper than the previous model, and it features a much more roomy toe box fit.

New shoe for new knee

Had second knee replacement and needed a new pair of shoes to start rehab. Prior to first knee replacement I ran in Karhu Iconi. Then tried Karhu Fusion 2021. Wasn’t totally sold on those but wanted a cushioned shoe. After research decided on the On Cloudstratus. Ordered online as they weren’t available locally and received quickly as with all orders from the website. I have Superfeet insoles as I have high arches. Shoes fit perfectly. Received these at about 9 weeks out of surgery and had completed PT. Started a walking regimen both treadmill and on the road. Shoes are very comfortable and cushioned. I’ve only done short 100-150 yards jogs as I’m making the lead up to a full run, since I have gone through this one already. I would recommend these shoes for fit, comfort and cushioning. I was scanned at Fleet Feet and an 11 is my suggested size which fit perfect for this pair. Just for information my first surgery was January 2021 and before my second surgery end of November 2021 I had worked up to a weekly average of 12-16 miles with my long run being 4 miles.
